social media for personal or business
I think things such as facebook twitter and instagram are more geared towards personal use. While a site such as linkedin is more geared towards business. This is also subjective though because i would only put the payroll and Hr comapny i work for on linkedin while i would only put the personal training company i work for on instagram and facebook. So I think i what it comes down to is what kind of business you are in.

You bring up a good point that different businesses may be better suited to different platforms. However, I disagree in that I think Twitter is a popular choice well suited to most businesses. I think people prefer businesses to cut to the chase with tidbits of information rather than pages of advertising.
ReplyDeleteFacebook, in my opinion, can be very useful for business. Most types of business will have a place in Facebook.
ReplyDeleteHi Travis! Although you make a good point about LinkedIn, I think that it can be quite relevant for all businesses to be part of facebook, twitter, and instagram. It allows for businesses to have open communications with all of their customers. I look forward to hearing more of your opinions throughout the course. :)
